We are an independent book shop situated in the centre of Glossop (gateway to the Peak District).  We have many thousands of second hand books (including both rare and antiquarian ones) as well as a small selection of new books. 

We also stock gifts, toys, music, CD's and stationery. There is a comfortable reading room offering free coffee and juice and browsers are always welcome.

If you can't find what you're looking for in our shop, we offer a book search service.  For a flat fee of £5.00 we will search for up to 3 books of your choice.  This is particularly useful if the book you require is currently out of print.

Alternatively, we can order in a brand new copy of any book currently in print.
